A: Due to health and safety reasons, we do not supply baby seats / child restraints. However, customers are welcome to use their own.
A: Yes, We do not allow anyone to eat, drink or smoke in a cab. If the cab is spoiled, drivers may charge an additional "cleaning fee" of R500.
A: Share-rides mean sharing your taxi with other paying passengers who live near or
en-route to each other. The meter is set to the normal tariff. Each passenger pays 50% of the fare that is displayed at their stop. You are in no way obligated to share your cab. However, sharing is a great way to reduce your own costs while moving people more quickly from high demand areas.
A: Where possible, we will always try to meet our customers requests, however, it is only a request and is subjected to availability.
A: By laying an official complaint with our Call Centre 0861 66 55 66, management will handle all logged complaints.
A: Please note that the driver needs to be paid immediately unless in the case of an account holder. Cash, debit or credit card facilities are available.
A: Lost property is generally handed in to the office within 24 - 48 hours of being located. If property is left behind in a cab, the driver must be contacted immediately. Drivers have the right to charge a standard fare to return the item if requested. Alternatively, items may be left at our office for collection. (Items are kept for a maximum of six months, thereafter it will be donated to charity). Unfortunately we are not always able to locate missing property so we encourage passengers to take care and ensure they have all their belongings before exiting the cab. Cabs for Women cannot be held liable for any items lost / forgotten in our vehicles.
A: No, we cannot assist as we will only have a record of the reservation and not the actual trip.
A: No, Cabs for Women is a passenger transportation vehicle and no parcel / package will be allowed in our vehicles without being accompanied by the responsible person.
